Griff, I loved your dad... I worked for Garner Wholesale for five years, from 1981 to 1986. I will never forget the first time I saw Mr Garner. He actually called me by name and asked about my family... He was a tremendous person and a friend... I have many recollections of his kindness to me

Griff and Family,
So sorry to hear about your Dad. He certainly lived life to the fullest. Glad to have met such a wonderful, giving and fun loving man while working at Garner Wholesale. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and yours during this difficult time.

To the Garner Family.
I just learned of Mr. Garner's passing. I only knew him for the 2 years I worked at Garner Wholesale in the late 80's, but I will never forget him. He was one of those "once in a lifetime" characters you meet, and he seemed to enjoy life about as much as anyone I've ever known. I know he will be greatly missed.

I pray God's continued blessing and healing upon the Garner family. A classmate of Les Garner Jr.

I was so sorry to hear about the death of Mr. Garner. I worked with all of you at Garner Wholesale back in the late 80’s and I have very fond memories of the great times we had. My office was beside Mr. Garner’s in the warehouse and I feel honored to have known him. I AM SORRY FOR YOUR LOST AND MY PRAYERS ARE WITH ALL OF THE FAMILY- I HAD THE PRIVILEDGE OF WORKING FOR GARNER WHOLESALE WHEN WE FIRST MOVED TO GREENVILLE- MR. GARNER WAS A TRIP AND I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HIM AS A GENEROUS PERSON WHO ENJOYED LAUGHTER -I FELT I FOUND A FRIEND IN MR. G WHILE WORKING AT GARNER WHOLESALE AND EVEN AFTER WHEN OUR PATHS CROSSED.
