Jennifer thank you for sharing your memories. Les often talked about his personal trainer and working out, and he was disappointed when that gym closed. He was a big part of our family. We miss him.

I was thinking of Les out of nowhere today and something made me google his name and I am very sad to have found this obituary. I was Les' personal trainer at Retro Fitness for many years and was very fond of him. We stayed in contact even after the gym had closed but the last few years we had lost contact. Les was fantastically good at raising one's mood. One time I was returning to work after having my hand stitched up after I was foolishly riding a shopping cart in the store's parking lot. I was feeling pretty low. When I got to my cubicle, what should I see but a doll sized shopping cart on my desk! Les had provided the perfect way for me to laugh at myself and feel better.
