Not sure what to say?

Thinking of the family on Lewis birthday. Sending loving blessings your way.

JoNell and CT. My thoughts are with you now (4/25/25, 4-7 pm). I´ve been flooded with memories on Charles´s behalf as well as my own. Curles Neck stories are dominate. I have found them to be quite comforting, especially as I observe Charles´s loss one year ago on April 16. May your memories comfort and sustain you as well.

Enjoyed our school years together.Enjoyed spending time with you and Nell(she was my little sister at JWH.) Time has escalated since that great time. Condolences to your family. See you on the other side Lewis we will celebrate again. Class of ‘58 Irma B. White

Lewis was a dear friend and colleague. He was instrumental in bringing me to Virginia and was always very supportive of me throughout all my working years. I served on the NASAA Board with him. I was very fortunate to call him friend.

Sorry to hear about Lewis. Our deepest sympathy to all the family. God Bless. Bill and Sue

I met Lewis in 1972, when I began at the SCC, as a 21-year-old right out of college. Lewis was Director of the Securities and Retail Franchising Division and I was handling the SCC's legislative activities. Lewis's family and friends know him from those perspectives, but I want to be sure you know that he was a dedicated, talented and effective public servant. The soundness of Virginia's economy and business practices, even after Lewis retired, are greatly attributable to him. He constantly...

JoNell and CT. Brad and i were just talking about lunch with Lewis in Mechanicsville at his favorite spot. he said that he didn't like bad weather so we planned on this Spring. i know that your mom is with him, holding his hand and he is giving that incredible laugh to the angels..JoNell, don't need to tell you this but your Dad loved you with all of his heart.. You were always his sunshine. We were so sad to read this today..Sending our love, Theresa and Brad Anderson

My son, Herbert, loved fishing with him on the Rappahanock River.
