My condolences to the family. May God grant you peace during this difficult time Phillippians 4:6,7.

A great guy and a rare find. Lewis always made my day seem better just by seeing him and talking to him.

I met Lewis in Building Bridges. He was a constant presence in that organization. His eyes radiated life warmth, love and his smile was like a ray of sunshine. He was likeable and approachable. Always upbeat and in a good state of mind. He was a solid rock in this community, a good man. He was generous with his time to many organizations. Too many good men dying too young in this town. He will be missed but forever remembered.

I remember playing tennis with you at Aston Park Tennis Center many years ago. I also remember when he was at Asheville High School on the radio describing basketball games. He will be missed.

I KNEW LEWIS FOR NUMBER OF YEARS FROM BOWLING. I ALWAYS ENJOYED LEWIS AND HIS GREAT LOVABLE, TO HIS FAMILY AND HIS ZEST FOR LIFE. LEWIS WAS SOMEONE WHOM IF EVERYONE WAS LIKE THE WORLD WOULD HAVE A LOT LES PROBLEMS. MY CONDOLENCES TO HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS AS I AM SURE HE WILL BE SORELY MISSED. I AM A LUCKY PERSON TO HAVE KNOW HIM AND WILL MISS HIM AND HIS SMILE!

I knew Lewis for many years. He was steadfast support of our kids and Asheville City Schools and a truly fine man. His passing is a great loss for our community.
