Tomorrow is your birthday and you would have been 97. We remember how you really enjoyed birthdays and celebrations of any kind. The nice note left from Sandy was very special. She captured your lives in Hawaii and how you embraced everyone as ohana.We miss and love you very much....and have fond thoughts of you when at starbucks or when eating french fries or salami!

30 years ago I had just moved to Waikiki and met you in the Hulu class. After that meeting, you took me under your wing and showed me Ohana. Both You and Don introduced me to Andrew Lums Tai Chi class and we would go there weekly. We celebrated Chinese New Year and saw Lion dance many years with Andrews Kung Fu group and I helped you (one year)make Jai (only tying vegetable to add to Jai) you did all the work but included me.
