Liliana talked about her family very frequently. I felt like I knew them from her descriptions. We have considered her part of our family for many years. She will be missed. She loved reading and we do as well so we frequently discussed what we were reading.

Liliana was a wonderful friend and a true humanitarian. She genuinely believed all God's children are valuable. I am a better person because of her witness.

My deepest condolences to Liliana's family and her countless friends in the Jacksonville community. Liliana was one of the kindest, most tolerant people I have met. Behind her kindness and respect for all lay a keen and sometimes sharp sense of humor. Liliana's quest for social justice and civic improvement over decades in Jacksonville made her a precious community asset. Jacksonville is a better place for her efforts there. Que mi vieja amiga descanse en paz.
