Liliana talked about her family very frequently. I felt like I knew them from her descriptions. We have considered her part of our family for many years. She will be missed. She loved reading and we do as well so we frequently discussed what we were reading.

My deepest condolences to Liliana's family and her countless friends in the Jacksonville community. Liliana was one of the kindest, most tolerant people I have met. Behind her kindness and respect for all lay a keen and sometimes sharp sense of humor.

Liliana's quest for social justice and civic improvement over decades in Jacksonville made her a precious community asset. Jacksonville is a better place for her efforts there.

Que mi vieja amiga descanse en paz.

Missing this wonderful friend. We were neighbors when our children were little and have been friends ever since, so many deep conversations. Liliana dedicated her life fighting for the dignity of others. She kept God at her center and now sees Him face to face. We send our love and prayers and know she is at peace.

In loving memory of a truly remarkable lady who touched so many lives with her love. Liliana & I were neighbors in Jacksonville. She was instrumental in my decision to apply to Illinois College to obtain my bachelor´s degree. Her influence changed my life. Always keep you in my heart, Liliana.
