Not sure what to say?

To the family of Lillian Erb: One of my best experiences in the Probate Court System was the pleasure of working with Judge Lillian Erb. Her reputation was outstanding- -compassion, fairness, dedication and most importantly, a great sense of humor. Beyond that, she worked tirelessly for the improvement of the courts. She left a valuable imprint on those whom she helped over the years. My sincerel sympathy to the family. Glenn E. Knierim, retired Probate Court Administrator.

Greg,
I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. Your mother was such a good friend to my mother. She will be dearly missed.

Amy, I am so sorry about the loss of your Gram. I know you were so close. I miss you and my thoughts are with you and your family.

To the Erb Family:
I was saddened to learn of Lillian's passing. What a great gal. I remember well the great times together in the State Legislature when politics could be fun. Lillian's
service as one of the first Republican women leaders was a milestone and she served with distinction. David and Dana had the opportunity to see their Mom in action and I know they will treasure those memories. She lived a full life and I'm sure loved every moment of it.

To all the Erbs,

Well it didn't take long before the entire village knew of your sad news. You know…Lil really, really was a great lady!

OMgoodness…the hours we’ve spent laughing…talking about this, that and the next thing…I wouldn’t trade for anything.

Truth is…when it came to Lil…there was never enough time!!! And oh by God…did you learn a thing or two when you listened to her. She always had great advice…or would set me to thinking about “something” in a new light....

The Erb Family,
I was so very sorry to hear of Lil's passing. She's been a part of Noank for my entire life. The village will not be the same without her. It was always a treat to see her or speak to her on the phone. She was an amazing person. We will all miss her.

Greg, Shell and boys,
Please know how much we love you and are praying that you will find peace and comfort in the wonderful memories you have of Lil. Surely, she wouldn't want one single tear shed, but only a celebration of a life lived not only to the fullest, but also of a life lived with excellence. Truly she was one of a kind.
Love you - Mike, Sue and all

I met Mrs.Erb just once a long time ago when they lived on Ocean Ave in NL, when David and I were in high school and even though I didn't know her as well as others I knew David and he was a great man, such a good job she did raising him and he turned out to be a wonderful person. So thank you for giving us your son a great friend.

I first got to know Lil when I joined a Child & Family Agency auxiliary and the annual tag sale. Lil was always a powerful force to reckon with at the sale and got things done. Later on, I discovered that she was the cousin of a long-time friend, and after telling her of it, we developed a more personal relationship. I always looked forward to seeing her and her welcoming smile. She will be missed by all who knew her, and I'm sure that she will be organizing a tag sale in the hereafter. ...
