Ms. Lowery was my high school English teacher in the 90s at James Madison H.S. in Vienna, VA. I loved her class. She was a warm and brilliant teacher who taught me so much. I see she went on to do even more great things in education and I'm not surprised. I am so sad to learn of her passing. I hope her family and friends find peace and comfort in good memories of Ms. Lowery.
