Mrs. Wood was one of the sweetest people i've ever known. As neighbors and as members of Eudora Baptist Church where Dr. Wood baptized me at age ten, she was always a delightful person to be around. My deeepest sympathies to Mrs. Wood's family. I was honored to serve as a bridesmaid in her wedding, Dec. 19, 1943 to Rev. Wood. She was a devout christian and a lovely lady.
