My memories of Lily go back to the time when Lily first came to Grand Coteau. Being from Crowley, I carpooled with the Kahns to bring her to school on Sunday's. At first, she would cry when leaving home, but soon she was just another of us girls. The nuns had prepared us for her arrival. We were not to give her undue servic(as it would be called today).
