Although I did not personally know Mrs. Lily Safra, I have come to know of her grace, elegance, sophistication, intelligence, and philanthropic generosity through friends of hers, and the efforts of the Foundation which she chaired. As has been said, "you aren´t wealthy until you have something money cannot buy". Mrs. Safra had the respect and admiration of those she interacted with at all levels.
