Linda Dew Garrou

John and family, it is perhaps selfish of me to say about Linda what I'm feeling at this moment: I wish the world had the heart and mind of Linda Garrou. We're offering frequent prayers for you all in thanksgiving for her life of kindness and service to us all.

John, Eleanor, Margaret, and Families, You must all be heartbroken. I am terribly sorry that you all - and the world - have lost Linda. You are in my thoughts and prayers as you begin to navigate life without her. Love, Fonda Jackson (1st cousin)

John I was so sorry to learn of Linda's death and wanted to send my sympathy to you and the whole family. (this is Susan formerly Gall of Womble and Cantate Domino). I got to know Linda in my last job at Full Life. I lost my mother too soon at age 78 as well, and it left a huge hole in my life so I understand and know how it is. So very sorry, Susan

Dear John and family, I am so very sorry about the loss of Linda. She was one of the finest people I have ever known. She stood for high principle, love of all, and aspired to make the world a better place, which she in fact did. As you know, I worked for her an advocate for the Guardian Ad Litem office back in the 1980s and 90s. It was my high privilege to know her. I pray that she will rest in peace in the loving hands of our good Lord. She was an angel on earth, and is now an angel...

"A woman who lived for others." A perfect phrase to sum up Linda. Interesting and interested, I was blessed to know her, and often wished I knew her more. My sincerest sympathies.

As a member of the NC Senate, Linda was a strong supporter of the NC Housing Trust Fund to address critical housing problems for low-income persons. I´ll remember her compassion and commitment to the people of our State. My condolences to the family.
