Linda Kovera Obituary
Naples - It is with profound sorrow that the family of Linda Kovera, 52, announces her passing on August 3, 2021. Linda was born on Jan 2, 1969 in Chicago, IL but lived in Naples for most of her life. She graduated from Naples High School in 1987 and earned a BA degree from the University of FL in 1990.
If there was one thing to know about Linda, it's that she was an altruistic person with a generous heart. She put the needs of others, even a stranger, before herself. Her other great passion was for animals, especially her dogs, Marley and Freedom. Her favorite way to spend an afternoon was with family and friends on the boat or relaxing on Keewaydin Island.
Linda is survived by her long time partner, Bill Ferguson, her mother, Arlene Kovera, her sisters Kathy Knabel Bailey and Janet Elliott, as well as extended family and friends. All will miss her more than words can say. She is predeceased by her father, Robert Kovera, her grandparents, Anna and Joseph Kovera, Mary Azukas, and her great grandmother Anna Kinas.
A celebration of her life is planned on Saturday August 7, 2021 from 3-5pm at Ridgeway's Restaurant located at 1300 3rd St S, Naples, FL 34102.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Linda's memory can be made to the AVOW Hospice House, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, FL 34105.
