Not sure what to say?

Linda was my hero. She was a person you could be open and frank with. She always found the good in people and situations. Linda was that rare person who made you feel valued and an important friend. She knew how to do hard things with grace, dignity, and the knowledge that things would work out for the best good of students. Linda's influence will continue. May your family be comforted with the knowledge that you all will be reunited in eternity.

A wonderful lady to work with when I was at the District Office. You always lighted the way for new and better things. Thank you!

Linda was always such a gracious beautiful lady. She was an advocate for all in her position at Granite School District. Many times I watched her quietly do acts of kindness to so many. What a great example of unconditional love.
I hope your family will have peace and comfort as well as sweet memories to fill your hearts in the days ahead.

Linda will always be remembered as an advocate for Granite Teachers and Granite Students. Her presence and influence will be missed.

Dear Dixon Family:

I learned today of dear Linda's passing. My heart is so very sad. She was a classic in so many ways. She achieved so much in her life and was so willing to share her many gifts and talents with others. She made such a contribution in the field of education. I had the pleasure of rubbing shoulders with her often and with each encounter, I always left our conversations uplifted, enlightened and encouraged. She was a beautiful, charming, intelligent woman. ...

I express my deepest sympathies to Linda's family. Linda was a tremendous advocate for excellence in education, and was someone you could always count on to champion opportunity and achievement for every student. I will always be grateful for Linda's kindness over the past few months. She began her treatment at about the same time my dad began his treatment for lung cancer, and we exchanged several texts offering one another encouragement and hope. Linda faced this trial with grace and...

Dewar Amanda and family, I'm so sorry about the loss of your precious mother and gram. I loved my association with Linda for over 20 years as I worked with Granite District teachers in many capacities. Linda was passionate about quality education and was so supportive of exemplary instructional practices. She was a driving force for good, providing instructional and motivational support for principals and teachers to live their best teaching lives to then impact the lives of the students they...

Linda will be greatly missed. A few months ago I needed to make a decision and was having a little difficulty deciding what to do. She was aware of the situation and took the time to seek me out individually and tell me to "Just be a father." I will always remember her for her passion for education along with the clarity and vision that she brought to everything she did.

Linda was a profound influencer and supporter in the education realm. She will be missed. Her inspiring messages and willingness to fight for what is best for students will forever be remembered.
