Lisa Graney

Lisa was my stepmother for 33 years. So wise, so generous. Every year I had her in my life was a gift....the things she knew were right, she did. My life was changed/re-directed/saved by her love and energy. I hope to give to the world some tiny shred of what she gave....

To Ron and Lisa's Family,

I was wondering how Lisa was today and decided to look for her online. I was brought to tears to read of her passing. She was always very kind to me and to my children. She knew what it was like to raise children as a single mother. I wish I knew her longer and am so saddened by her passing.

Dear Daniel:
I remember fondly times in Waldwick when your mom and I would chat. She was a feisty one with a no-nonsense attitude underneath which was a wise and kind heart. My deepest condolences to you and your family.

We recall Lisa as one who showed kindness to everyone she met. She also had a stamina that enabled her to do many different things well. Several years have past since we went different ways, but we fondly remember those earlier times.

I added photos, although my comments did not come through. My heartfelt sorrow at the family's loss. I will always remember Lisa's kindness to my mother Elsa Poisson Gradenwitz. Distant cousins that we are.. I cherished the connection.

My mom, Connie,and I were sad to hear of Lisa's passing, but had so many great memories of her kindness and graciousness from Temple Avodah days.
