Lisa, you were one of the best YN's that I have ever worked in my 22 years career. You were also a fantastic teammate at RCC SE JAX. You were always willing to step in and lend a hand. You always looked out for the well-being of your team and the command. You will be missed greatly.

Lisa was a wonderful person; loyal, humble, kind, caring, supportive, loving and the list goes on. I'm so thankful that I knew her and could truly call her friend. My sincerest condolences to your family, I pray God's comfort for you all during this time. Although she is gone so soon, I'm thankful for her life and that she is now pain-free and at peace.

I served with Lisa Weed in Louisville, Ky at the NOSC from 2000-2003 where she made Chief / YNC. I want to state for the record that I have always used Lisa as a standard for all the YN's I have served with - her ability to adapt to the CO's writing personality and characteristics set her apart from the rest. In addition being on top of all administrative action items she made sure everyone was taken care of - a sense of urgency, when it comes to customer service makes all the difference. Lisa, you will be sourly missed by those around you - God Bless you and your Family. Mary and I will not be able to make the funeral but know that we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers always. Salute to you - sister, shipmate and friend! Fred Prindle, USN, CMDCM (SW/AW) Retired

Deepest sympathies for a woman who gave more of herself to serve the Navy, and to be devoted to her family.

"Those who love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, and missed, very dear. "

Wishing all of her family the greatest comfort and that her goodness continues to thrive in her children.
