Not sure what to say?

I can't believe it's been a year since we lost Lloyd to heaven. I think of him often and remember what a fun teacher he was. With the last name of Arnold I always sat in the first desk next to Lloyd's podium. We used to joke around and laugh, but then when he was displeased he'd give "the look" with one raised eyebrow. I can picture it still. He's the only teacher from my past that I kept in touch with and remained friends with. I know he's in a better place (can't beat heaven!) but all...

He was my principal in the early sixties. While in the 4th grade I got sent to his office by my exasperated teacher for not doing schoolwork. He sat me down and pointed to a door behind which he claimed was a closet full of rulers for spanking disobedient kids. I totally believed him. I think he owned a really cool Corvette.

Last Family Pic with Dad, Oct. 2014

Just learned that our dear family friend Lloyd Thede friend passed away. He touched so many lives and leaves a legacy of faith for so many who loved him. Our Dad passed away on December 21, 2015. See you in heaven Lloyd and thank you for your incredible friendship! Say hello to Dad for us. Proverbs 27:17 - Iron sharpeneth iron;...

Dear Family - I can remember him in his office - He was an great Mentor and friend for many years. It wasn't until i read his son's obituary of his passing. My deep prayers and sympathy to your family for both will be missed.

Mark

Please accept my deepest condolences. May you find comfort in knowing you made him so happy. I hope the pain eases and the happy memories come more often. Take Care.

I wish to convey my condolences to the family. I have many memories as a young boy on the farm in the summer and doing lots of chores while having lots of fun at the same time. Uncle Lloyd will always be in my memories.
