I do not know you or your son but felt compelled to reach out to your family. As someone who struggles with bipolar disorder and who also has a young son who struggles with bipolar disorder, I want to tell you that I am sorry for what your son had to endure. It is such a cruel disease. It is also hard to watch someone you love lose a battle to it. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. Fly high young one. You no longer have the burdens of this world.

As a parent of a son Logan's age with bipolar disorder, I am deeply touched by the beauty of your tribute to him and the profound depth of his and your family's struggle with this misunderstood affliction.
