I have so fondly remember the day, skiing the big slopes of Anchorage, a young tow-headed blonde boy said he didn't know how to ride the chair lift. I talked him through getting on and riding to the top of Alyeska or Arctic Valley (I can't remember which). Oops, I forgot to tell him how to get off the chair.
