I have such happy memories of the Janke family from the Holladay 23rd ward. No one played the piano like Lois and she and LaRue Hathaway spent so many hours organizing and leading the youth choir. Lane, Mark and Jill you had a wonderful mother and all these years I have used her chile recipe. It's still my favorite!

Lane and Mark. I am sorry for your sorrow at this time. My prayers are with you and your families at this time. I remember you talking about your mother years ago and feel like I knew her through you.

Aunt Lois was always so kind and loving towards me. I was grateful for her righteous example and was awed by her musical talent. She was ever generous with her time, being willing to play at a moment's notice. Her beautiful music brought the Spirit to countless people through her life. I feel blessed to have felt her loving influence.
