Lois Lavonne (Williams) Meacham, April 4,1943-September 16, 2016.

At 4:37am on September 16, 2016, Lois passed away at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo, IN after a long battle with illness.  She was an amazing woman who was loved by everyone she met.  She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, who even fostered special needs children.  She worked at Libby’s in her early years and was a homemaker for the last 37 years.  She was a member of the Trinity Wesleyan Church.  She attended and volunteered her time during the week at the Kokomo Senior Center.  Everyone knew her as Grandma Loie.

Mourning her loss are her four children: Emory (Theresa) Meacham III: their children Matthew Meacham, Jennifer (Josh) Thomas, Shannon Meacham, Jennette (Jesse) Bradley, Casey Cochran, Ashley (Ryan) Dalton, James “Mike” Shaffer; Mary Cowan; her children: Angela (Justin) Lane, David Larimore, Richard (Heather) Avery; Lora (Meacham) Hullinger; her children: Austen King, Justin King, Katelyn Hullinger, Aaron (Armani) Hullinger; Michael (Lee Schoenradt) Meacham; her two sisters Linda (Frank) Pierson: their children Vickie (Jeff) Loges, Cindy Bailey and Marilyn Meadows; her children Chris Meadows, Paul Scott (Karen) Meadows, Kimberley (Corey) Carter. Lois had many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lavon and Mary (Bagley) Williams;  sister, Marjorie Williams; and grandson, Dustun Larimore.

She will always be loved and greatly missed. "Rest easy momma, the struggle is over."

The funeral service will be held for Lois at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 South Main Street, with Pastor Dave Boss officiating. Burial will follow at Crown Point Cemetery. Lois's family will be receiving relatives and friends for a time of visitation on Thursday from 10: 00 AM until the time of service, at the mortuary.
