I had the rich blessing of getting to know Lois for the past three years through the Care Ministry at First Evangelical Covenant Church in Grand Rapids. picked her as "my person" to visit. As was easy to do with Lois, we quickly became friends, especially when we learned we shared a love of watching football on Sunday afternoons! More significantly, I quickly learned how much Lois loved her family, her girlfriends in Bedford who still invited her to lunch(!), and how much she loved God. ...
