My condolences to Lonnie's family. I worked with Lonnie at Hanford High School for over 20 years. He made me a better teacher and was one of the very first colleagues to not only welcome me but also to mentor me. He would meet with me to discuss lessons and to offer suggestions and advice. I am quite sure he helped me secure a teaching position with the district as he would ask for me to sub his classes and was instrumental in getting me a job with the district! I have such deep respect...
