I am absolutely shocked and deeply saddened at Loren's passing. He was a great guy to have in the lab and his stories of life as a roadie were always entertaining. I will miss his passion for music, his great sense of humor, and the fact that he looked better in my dress than I did that Halloween. My heart and prayers are with you and your family during this time of great sorrow.

Loren was a very special person. We worked with Loren when he was in 36 at NIH. He wore a dress on halloween and was gorgeous Everybody loved him. He will be deeply missed. Our hearts are with his family at this time.
