Sorry that I can't be with family in Manitowoc today. It has definitely been a pleasure to get re-acquainted with Lorene in the past several years. We didn't write often but I always enjoyed her positive notes and letters. She will be missed.

My husband and I live at Walnut Ridge. I am in a state of shock at the news of her death. Although I did not know her well, she and I developed a special relationship. She was always so sweet and had such a lovely smile. I was so privileged to be her guest at the birthday dinner that was held here this month. I was so surprised at the invitation but she told me she always enjoyed me and was thankful for the times that I played the piano at the chapel here on...
