To know a person for over 60 years is a precious thing. While I can not say that I spent as much time with my Aunt Lorene as I had hoped, I have the good fortune to have wonderful memories of her over the years as I grew up.
There is a great picture of my aunt holding me next to her sister (my mother) when I was about a year old and I was crying my eyes out and both she and my mother had the most beautiful smiles on their faces, in spite of my little crying fit. From that day on...
