Dr. Holder was one of those rare college professors who got to know her students and their strengths and weaknesses. She guided each of us to a professional path that matched our uniqueness and led us to help those folks with disabilities with their unique needs. We kept in contact after college as I built my career. The last time I saw her was in the late seventies when she and "Charlie" Brown were in NW Arkansas, and invited my husband and I to dinner. I knew Dr. Holder-Brown through employment at the UofA and always admired her quiet yet determined spirit to bring good to her area plus the entire College of Education. Thank you for letting us know about her legacy. She will be remembered for her giving spirit.
