I sat next to Lori in high school French class. She mastered every lesson while I struggled with quickly understanding and speaking in conversational activities. I needed to continue taking French at Stanford to fulfill the language requirement there. At Christmas time one year a group of her friends went to her home in Arcadia to wrap Christmas packages. It saddens me deeply to learn of the passing of dear Lori. We were friends starting at Arcadia High School, continuing through Stanford and the years beyond. I was so looking forward to being with her again at our 60th reunion. My heartfelt condolences to Alan, children and grandchildren.

Pain free at last, but oh, how we miss her. The memories are long and deep and forever treasured. Our hearts go out to all her beautiful family, now and always. Claudia and Merv
