Lorie was a client at the salon I work at, and I had the pleasure of being able to chat with her over the years. I always looked forward to her coming in. The sweetest, most kind hearted, caring woman I have met. Always made you feel special, really listened to you and cared about what you had to say. Always a lovely & genuine conversation. Lorie was a special gift to all who had the fortune to have had her touch their lives. Lorie and Joe will always be MENSCHEN.

It's hard to grasp that Lorie is gone. She inspired generations of Cherry Hill West students. I was one of the lucky recipients of her kindness, love and support. Indeed, I´m grateful to have had her as a mentor and cherished friend for over 55 years. Her loving notes, sweet texts and occasional visits were a great source of sustenance to me. As teachers, she and her husband Joe impacted my life in countless ways. They are why I love novels and poetry and turn to them often for comfort...
