Not sure what to say?

I had the pleasure to meet Lou Brock. I was 12 years old and incredibly nervous. He was incredibly kind. Amazing player and better person. In addition to his other accolades he should have been selected as the MVP of the 64 world series. He was clutch in the post season. Will miss you. Sincerely, Hugh E. Loeser

Mr. Brock took time out from mowing his lawn one day when as a young boy I was walking by his home with my grandmother to say "hello" to me and provided with a note that stated "To Paul, Best Wishes, Lou Brock - St. Louis Cardinals" on Lou Brock Dodge stationary. He was thereafter my idol growing up when running track and playing baseball. Thank you for the memories, Mr. Brock!

I am sending prayers to the family. I served in the USMC with Charles Brock. I am trying to locate him. If you can assist please contact me.

To Mr. Brock's family - my deepest condolences. Thank You for sharing him with all of us.
Growing up in Rural New York State, and the son of a long time Cardinals fan. I wore number 2 because little league uniforms didn't go up to 20.
Thanks for the memories. RIP

There are no words to describe the rise to fame of Lou. Never once ever saw Lou not in the game 100%. It to me unfortunate if you are to young to have seen him play. I stood in line 3 hours to have him sign a ball for me, my prized possession to have something he held in his hand. He will always be in history as one of a KIND. Most sad to hear the news but know he is in heaven for a well earned rest. It is not a sin to steal a base.
