Not sure what to say?

Dear Kathy,
An enduring pair you and Lou are... remembering back to middle school, what a contented, smiling couple. As others have said, all these years later my snapshot of Lou is of a gentle, kind soul. And yet clearly, strong and courageous. I think of you both often, and hope your life moving forward is warmed by the many memories of your time together. Peace and Love from Kristen

Kathy,

I just read the beautiful letter your son wrote. It was on Facebook, I think it was posted by Andy Porto. I knew immediately you had to be Doug's mom.

I am so sorry for your loss. I am sending prayers and thoughts of strength your way at this difficult time. I am sure you are comforted with the knowledge that Lou is looking down on you and you family with love.

I now live in Vermont. My three children either graduated from college or currently in...

You were like a big brother to me Lou. I always looked up to you. God bless you and your beautiful family. Love Timmy.

God bless you Lou. I love you buddy. I will miss you.

Wish I had really known my cousin better, the outpouring of love from the community is overwhelming...a good, decent man
Love to his children and wife

Our hearts are broken by Lou's death, who I watched grow up from infancy. I attended all his milestone celebrations, i.e. christening,Communion, Confirmation, birthdays, even his wedding. He was always right there helping us with his plumbing & heating expertise whenever the need arose. I could only describe Lou's mannerisms, character, etc. as that of a perfect gentleman at ALL times. The respect Lou possessed & always exhibited was unique, especially in today's generation. Never did I hear...

One of the good guys......growing up in the Hill Street area , it felt good, just to be around Lou, whenever i ran into him a big handshake, a smile, and a story from when we were younger..they dont make em like this anymore. I will remember him fondly.

I have not seen Luke in over 35 years. What I do remember about Lou is that he always had great character and quality personal attributes. Rest in peace my Friend. Rick Churchill
