Louis Mario Camerota

He was my algebra teacher in high school, he was a friend to me and my family. He took our family portraits for us. I saw him a couple years ago and we had a nice talk. He was a fantastic human being and will be missed always

I knew Lou Camerota for over 50 years. I joined the Highland Camera Club sometime during my Sophomore year and we stayed in touch to varying degrees for all the years since. About 12-15 years ago we started to get in touch more often, usually over discussions about photography. Over the years I met Gail a few times, more in the more recent years. I had to take his Geometry class twice and the second time my sister Terry was in the class with me. He put up with our nonsense without even breaking a sweat. Great teacher. RIP Mr. Camerota.

One of the very best teachers I had during my years (1967-1971) at Highland Regional High School. He was also a great person. He will be missed.

Mr Camerota was a fabulous teacher. He was kind and very patient with his students. He was my Algebra teacher in the 70's and also was my photographer at my wedding. A very special man! May he and his wife Rest In Peace!

Sorry to hear of his passing. I had him for algebra at Highland Highschool back in the early 70'S. Enjoyed his class. I still have two photos that he took of me. One was at our Powder Puff football game in which I played in. Great memories.

I was a student at Highland High (1973-1977) and had Mr. Camerota as my math teacher. I enjoyed his class and I believe that he enjoyed us as well. He was a popular teacher.
