Louis Dees Obituary
Louis "Bud" Dees, 57, passed away on August 7, 2016.
Bud was born on November 22, 1958 in Springfield, the son of Wesley J. Jr. and Beverly Ann Cote Dees.
Bud graduated from Williamsville High School in 1976 and went on to work in construction as a concrete finisher for more than 25 years. He was a member of OPCMIA Local 18 and worked for Construx of Illinois, Broughton, R.D. Lawrence, and most recently for Otto Baum. Bud also owned Dees Bobcat Service. He was a very hard worker, enjoyed metal work and art, and working with his hands.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Susan Gail Dees; and his beloved dogs, Bear 1, Bear 2, and Zane.
He is survived by his siblings, Michael Dees of Sherman, Annie Sanzenbacher of Springfield, Tracey Dees of Andrew, and Patrick (Angela) Dees of Williamsville; nieces and nephews, Joseph (Erin) Sanzenbacher, David Sanzenbacher, Jesse Dees, Samantha (Jared) Washko, Sydney Dees, and Skylar Dees; his great-nephew, Caden Sanzenbacher; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Private family ceremonies were held.

I am so sad to hear of Bud's passing. So many wonderful memories of the old days. He was a wonderful friend, even though he's the reason I'm afraid of heights now. Story which involves the double ferris wheel at the state fair. I cherish all those memories. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the Dees family.
