Not sure what to say?

Tho Lou has been gone several years, I think of him often remembering his smile and partnership with both the Ag School where we worked together and also the Center for Healthy Minds. Lou "got it" long before others were figuring out the tremendous power of our mindsets and beliefs on our success. He was just a wonderful, wonderful man and I miss him

As I still today speak to groups about the power and joy of generosity - I include Lou in my stories. His support and dedication to the College of Ag and Life Sciences - where he got his degree - and in other areas of the University was always thoughtful and meaningful. His performance on our campaign film was a special time (I have this great shot of him getting make-up) Anyway...I sincerely cared for Lou and I miss him, his warmth and the passion we shared for lifting others up.

To a dear friend and colleague from the old A. G. Becker Co. rest in peace. I keep many good memories of Alan, Ernie and Lou during the "good old days" at Becker. I am sure you will be in good company!

I knew Lou when he was in Vancouver playing Football with the BC Lions. He was a gentle man with a great sense of humour.I hope his family will find peace at this sad time.

Lou was a great gentleman and stock broker. He was very well liked by all while working as a team member with Ernie Janus and Al Rappaport. He never said a bad word about anyone. He was always a pleasure to deal with and will be missed by all who knew him.

Lou was a great friend, contributor and mentor to me as we worked together with his many roles at UW Madison. His continued dedication to the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and his agricultural roots was inspirational. We also enjoyed many, many good times in Chicago and planning how his leadership and philanthropy would have the greatest impact. Although he knew and worked with so many folks, it really felt like we had a special friendship around our UW and ag values. I will miss...

Sincere sympathy to the Holland family. I graduated with Louie in 1960 from our little school in Union Grove and will always remember him as a great person and athlete. So happy to hear of his very successful life.
