Not sure what to say?

Lou was always my best friend and brother. I was the last of seven and hard to find names. Lou was there again. I was named after his favorite comic book "Steve Roper". I always envied the way he went from basketball to Golf. He was really good and even gave me some pointers. I will never forget that he was supposed to be in a charity tournament Monday after he passed. In his honor I stood in for him and went with his three best friends and carried his putter to each hole. Mike C. always said...

My Dear Brother Louis. You were one of the best that God ever made. What fun to be around you. Not a reserved bone in your body. The one memory i have of you was when i was about 11 0r 12 years old and you talked me into boxing with you. You were probably in your late teens. We started out in the kitchen , than into the hall than into the bathroom and ended up with me in the bathtub. Pretty soon there was a shatter of glass, yep there went the bathroom window. Needless to say Mom was not to...

Even though I only was able to see Uncle Lou on a few occasions, I'll never forget how friendly and dynamic he was. One of my fondest memories that will live on in my heart is him imitating a frog! We'll miss you!
You're niece, Stephanie

Lou will be missed. I did not get to meet Lou, but coresponded with him over E-Mail and felt like I knew him. It was through George O'Bresly that I got his E-Mail address and had lots of laughs and enjoyment from his E-Mails. Its our loss. Heaven will be a better place with him there to help brighten it up.

Dear Brother Lou: Having known you for 67 years, there is so much that can be said, but even more special are the memories that can never be erased, and are so special because you are a part of them.

Jogging my mind, I recall the trip North from VanLear, Kentucky during the War when Mom, George, and you took charge of us 'youngins', tightly holding our hands so that we would not get separated in that monstrous Cincinnati train terminal. Never having been out of the hills of...

Lou - Always the kind, charming, flamboyant, generous. Your mom always said you could sell an air-conditioner to an eskimo.
Steve & I especially enjoyed our mid-point Houston stops the last couple of years. You even gave up your bed to sleep on the air mattress that you had to get up 3 times in the night to refill.
You made some great meals for us that your mom would be proud of.
We'll all miss you...
Thanks for the memories.
Your sister-in-law, Carol

Lou was my sister's Real Estate Broker. When I was transferred to Memphis she told me that Lou would sell my "house from hell that wouldn't sell", and, he did. He was a heck of a guy and we will all miss him.

Lou was the most brilliant man that I have ever met. He was my mentor in business and in life. He is truly "one of a kind". I will miss him always.
