Louis Prejean Obituary

Brian passed away in his home on Sunday, October 2nd 2016 due to heart related issues. He was a graduate of Lee High's class of 1980 and attended LSU. He was employed with Bercen Inc., for over 35 years. An avid music lover, he never stopped buying vinyl and treasured his vast album collection. He loved dancing, vacationing at the beach, his LSU tigers and time with family and friends. He is survived by his daughter Arden Renee Prejean; her mother, Trisha Carlisle; Trisha's children, Afton C. Matherne and Trevor Carlisle; his mother, Joan Pourciau Prejean; grandmother, Cleo Steib; three brothers, Brett Prejean and wife Maren (Greseth), Blaine Prejean and wife Carol (Bize) and Boyd Prejean; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, all of whom he adored. If Brian was your friend you had a true one in him. Preceded in death by his father, Louis E. Prejean; and uncle Mark Pourciau. Celebration of his life will be held at Greenoaks's reception center on Saturday, October 8th from 11:30 am until 2:30 pm and prayer services will be held at 1 pm. Anyone attending who would like to speak, express feelings, share stories of your times with Brian, we would greatly appreciate it. Special thanks to the recovery center and all the friends he made there. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Blaine - I'm so sorry for your family's great loss! My prayers are with you, Brett, Boyd, your mom and your families at this very sad time. I'll always have such great memories of how you Prejean brothers came to Wildwood and took it over like a storm. Great childhood memories. Sorry I couldn't be there for the service. Love to you all!
