Lou was my step father we met in 1957 in Manhattan Beach CA I was 5 yrs old. Lou and my mother married and we moved into Santa Monica CA where they started the Happy Hour Day Care on 919 Montana Ave .Lou and I were father and son and belonged to the Indian guides we also belonged to the Vic Tanny/Jack La Lane gym and are life time members. Nathan it was a pleasure to have known you Dad. He seemed to enjoy life and although at his age I felt badly that he was living alone he always was so positive and after visiting him whether it be at home or at the convelescent home he made me feel better having talked with him. My condolences to you & your family, You had a great dad.

We never met Louis Sobel, but we know Michael, my nephew-in-law, our prayers and thoughts are with you Michael and Susie. Love Aunt Rose and Uncle Johnny.

It was a pleasure knowing this wonderful man who brought joy and happiness to many. May he rest in peace and my prayers are with Michael and his family.

Was a great person, he was very positive and Happy. He loved woman, loved to talk and liked Jokes. He loved to story tell and he won a prize for the Jitterbug. He also loved to gamble. He was very friendly, people person.
He is in a happier place now, with all is buddies.
