Lou was a great person and even better teacher...we always had some great conversations...my condolences to his family...the world was a better place with him in it..he will be missed

I was blessed to be apart of Lou's family. The Stringer's had moved from SanDiego area so Lou could start his Teaching career and I became an Auntie to his kids . They took me in like family- loved his since of humor. One best memories was when I went to the house & he answered the door w/half a mustache . He told me to be quiet about it because Nancy hadn't noticed. So I didn't say a thing. Condolences to the family and friends. He fought a good fight with Nancy at his side. Rest in peace...

Sending prayers for all of your family. Lou was a wonderful human being wonderful teacher. I had the pleasure of working with him for many years at Oakdale High School my daughter Brittany had him as a ceramics teacher her senior year and we still have those little treasures she made in his class. Coach made an impact on all of us that were lucky enough to have him bicycle with us as we ran. His impact was not only in those moments but impactful for a life time and beyond. My deepest condolences to all who knew him, family, friends, and athletes.

Our son was on cross country & track team.... & made it to State finals.... Mr stringer was his coach & our son was the recipient of the Lou Stringer scholarship in 1998!! A special man!! Thoughts & prayers for his family!!!
