GREENVILLE -- Louise Frances Brubaker was born October 25, 1941, to Arthur and Helen (Metzger) Brubaker. She grew up on a farm in Preble County with 9 siblings.
She accepted Christ and was baptized into the Old German Baptist Brethren Church in August 10, 1958.
On May 28, 1960, she married Ralston (Rolly) King. They took up housekeeping in Darke County where their 5 children were born. On February 1, 1966, while she was in the hospital after having her daughter, Rolly was involved in a farm accident, taking his life and leaving her to raise their children alone. With God's help, she accomplished that mission.
On October 29, 1995, she married Elwyn Beachler and she joined him in North Manchester, IN. She enjoyed 8 years with until the Lord took him home on October 26, 2003. Louise moved back to Darke County, settling in the Shady Grove District.
She departed this life at the close of the day on April 17, 2024.
Leaving behind Arthur and Sylvia of West Alexandria, William and Marilyn of Bradford, John and Sarah of Greenville, Aaron and Becky of Greenville, and Joyce and Doug Wray of Greenville, 39 grandchildren including spouses, 49 great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, and 3 step great grandchildren. 3 brothers, Paul and Wilma Brubaker, Jim and Norma Brubaker, Tom and Laura Brubaker. 3 sisters, Ellen Brubaker, Barb and Andy Bambeck, and Catharine and Stuart Cook, sisters-in-law Vera Brubaker and Carolyn Brubaker and King in-laws, Marcella King, Calvin Bowman, Marlene Brumbaugh, Connie and Marlin Bowman, Rufus and Penny King and many other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death besides her parents and 2 husbands are a great grandchild, Riley King, Siblings and in-laws, David Brubaker, Martin and Ruth Brubaker, Wes Brubaker, Katie Brubaker, Paul King, Marjorie and LeRoy Holsinger, Mary and Ralph Brunk, Beverly Bowman, Charles Brumbaugh, Charlene King, Ronald King.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 23, 2024 from 2-5 and 6-8 PM at the Shady Grove Meeting House, 1887 Beamsville Union City Road, Union City, Ohio. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday April 24, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Shady Grove Meeting House. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
