Week after week he pedaled his bike from downtown Ithaca, out Slaterville Road, and into the Bethel Grove Bible Church parking lot even when his arthritis became more and more acute. He was a unique and special person.

I remember Lowell from our school days at Belle Sherman Elementary School in the 1940's. He has a good friend and always helping the younger children. May he rest in peace. My sympathy to his family.
