Not sure what to say?

Gary and I served together 1972-74 when we attended FB-111A aircrew training and started our career tour in the one-eleven at Plattsburgh AFB, NY. Gary was an excellent officer, bombardier and friend. When spending 30% of ones combat aircrew life together, away from home in an alert facility or studying and flying together, a special respect for your crew mate evolves. As an officer and aviator, Gary was as good as or better than any. Obviously, he loved his Air Force. It was my good luck...

As always it is a sudden shock when one of out friends and former neighbor from Plattsburgh AFB pass on.
We have not keep in touch as we should have since our departure from the Air Force and that is now our loss. Our sympathy goes out to Gary's family. He was a great guy, always with a smile and a great navigator and an old friend.

Dearest Mary, Gary was the Best of the best! He was my best friend, in the airplane, on the golf course, everywhere. When I received this notice, I felt like I was hit by a huge truck. Gary should have survived me by at least a hundred years! I deeply regret that I didn't write to him every day, but he didn't owe me that much attention. Gary is the Greatest, and so are you! I miss you both. I love you both! I'll never forget you. I'd like to write a book about you two, but, at the...

Mr. Trout you inspired me to teach. You cared for ever student everyday. I am so grateful to have met you. You were a big part of my journey to become a teacher and father. Thank you so much for being who you were.

My condolences to my dear friend since childhood, Mary Janette. I remember you and Gary having supper with me and my late husband Guenter at Ricardo's in Tulsa. So glad we had that time together. Also please extend my sympathies to your precious family as you grieve together. Love, Mary Jordan Bode

R.I.P. my friend, you enriched my life knowing you.

I remember in high school they needed 3 short boys for a play Me ,Tommy Everty & Gary, we didn't grow to much until we got out, then we grew a lot. Rest in Piece Old Friend .

Dear Mary, Gary and family -

My love and sympathy go with you all during this time. Gary was such a wonderful, loving influence in my life as a new teacher and for so many years as a mentor and friend. I will never forget his dedication and kindness to all of his students and especially to his "new" teachers, like me, on staff. No words can express the positive impact he made on so many thousands of lives as a teacher and I am sure so many thousands of soldiers for the many...

I had the great honor of working with Gary at Vista Verde Middle School. He was a great person to have around. He knew the ins and outs of teaching and always had PLENTY of teaching materials. I appreciated the fact that he gave a couple of my sons the time to interview him about his service in the Military.

Enjoy being with your heavenly father!!!!!
You will be missed

Praying for the rest of the family.
