Luanne was first, and I was second. As children, we moved several times for Dad's career, and wherever we lived, Luanne and I shared a room, but not always amiably (smile!). As adults, we were much more than sisters - - we were friends, the best of friends. Luanne and Bernie always welcomed us into their home and cared for my daughters when I needed surgery.
