Luanne was first, and I was second. As children, we moved several times for Dad's career, and wherever we lived, Luanne and I shared a room, but not always amiably (smile!). As adults, we were much more than sisters - - we were friends, the best of friends. Luanne and Bernie always welcomed us into their home and cared for my daughters when I needed surgery. We shared a few vacations together and built beautiful memories. Luanne's last several years were challenging to say the least, especially since Bernie left this World before she did. He was her rock. Luanne and Bernie danced beautifully together, and I like to think of them dancing together again with no more physical ailments. I loved them both, and I will miss them always.
