It was my Honor to have met Lucas and his family. When I first met Lucas, He came in for a lab draw, he was scared and I remember assuring him that having blood work wasn't as bad as he thought. I would be as gentle as possible. When we were done, he looked up at me and said..HEY, THAT DIDNT EVEN HURT. That smile he gave me, melted my heart. I was happy to know I had gained his trust. I'm going to miss when he would come in to see us, because he would walk right up and say..HI FRIEND (tears)....
