Lucas Scott Taylor, 27, of Toledo and formerly of Columbus, died Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at his residence. He was born September 14, 1993, in Columbus to Brian and Theresa (Barford) Taylor. His parents survive in Johnstown, OH.
Also surviving is a brother, Zachary (Emyle) Taylor of Grove City, OH; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his dog and best pal, Barley.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Nancy (Rutter) Taylor, Tom Taylor, and Thomas and Helen (Mohr) Barford.
Lucas was a 2012 graduate of Westerville South High School. He was a trained welder and used his trade with several welding firms. He was a wonderful artist and loved drawing, music, and was an avid musician playing many instruments, but above all his base guitar. He truly enjoyed jamming with his friends.
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Schoedinger Funeral Home, Worthington, OH. A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021, at Fairview Cemetery, Galion, OH.
Memorial donations may be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL. 33607, or to the charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Love Funeral Home, Ottawa, OH.
