My family will be forever grateful to. Lucy and her friend for the Loy she brought to our parents, Harold and Celestine Childress, by visiting them often, joking and playing Bid whist with them. We loved to hear her jovial laughter! Condolences to Jackie and family!!

So sorry for your loss Sliver we all love you so much

To Ms. Jackie, Ms. Sylvia & Family, I am praying You All will not be overwhelmed by the loss of Ms. Lucy Briggs. I will Always remember her beautiful smile & kind demeanor when I saw her, while growing up. May You All receive comfort & strength through the many wonderful memories to sustain all in the days ahead. To be absent in body is presence w/the Lord

May you rest in heaven Aunt Lucy, you will forever be loved.

It will, I was hoping to get together as a family to honor Aunt Lucy. She was so good to the three ( Anthony, Millie and I) us when we were younger. When we were living with my Aunt Susie, Aunt Sylvia, Aunt Lucy and Aunt Pauline made sure we knew who they were to us, by visiting often. A fond memory was during their visits Aunt Lucy and Aunt Pauline would bring us penny candy and we would watch American Bandstand dance the Bunny Hop around the dining room.

We loved Miss Lucy. We got attached to her at Mountainside when my mom lived there and I was able to see her several times while she was at the Cedars as well, so very sorry for your loss. She was a very sweet lady.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.
