Lucy Shea Sweeney

To J and his family, I was so sad to learn of Lucy´s recent passing. She was a vibrant force as past president of the Retired Teachers Association of Manchester. I met Lucy when we were in need of a president and she stepped up. I loved her enrhusiasm, generosity, and heartfelt smile.

A wonderful person and a friend from Manchester high school.

So sorry and surprised by Lucy´s passing. My deepest condolences to Joe and sons. Our families go back a long way in the Forest Hills neighborhood. May she rest in peace.

Joe, It´s been a lot of years since you and I and Lucy stood at the altar of Saint Joseph´s church in New London to witness the wedding of your brother to my sister. Through the years I have always thought highly of you and of Lucy so I am sending my condolences to you and your sons at this very sad time. You are all in my prayers.

What can one say about a joyful, respectful, gracious, giving woman? She sparkled. I'm so grateful for the loving friendship she had with my mother. To Joe and your sons- thinking and praying for you in this sad time
