Not sure what to say?

It's been a few years, but to this day I think of Luke and feel the loss that comes when a special person is no longer among us. Steady as she goes my friend. Your friends and coworkers in the White Mountains miss you.

I learned today of Luke's passing today from one of our shipmates. I regret that I never got in touch with Luke over the years. He was a great friend of mine while we served together on board Chandler and we spent many hours talking of God , life, family and friends. He was a strong man on the outside but soft and caring in. I thought of him as the older brother I never had. I've missed him and miss him more now. I have a loss that I cannot get back. To all that new him he was an inspiration....

It is with great sadness that I learn of Luke's passing. He was a good shipmate and a great friend. I will always know Luke as a man who loved God and put others before himself. My heartfelt condolences are with Luke Aaron and his family. Be at peace my friend.

My thoughts and Prayers are with you, his Family. Luke is a Good Friend and Shipmate. It was a Pleasure to serve alongside him. May God shower all of you with his Love, Blessings and Grace.

My condolences to Luke's family and friends. He left us way too soon but positively influenced those around him until the very end.

I join with the men here who knew Luke on the Chandler. He was always light-hearted, but took his job seriously. He was a man of honor and a friend to everyone he met. Very sorry to hear he was taken at such a young age. A very good man.

I served with Luke on board USS Chandler. He was friend to everyone and a dedicated patriot. I am not surprised to read that he went on to continue serving others after the Navy. My heartfelt sympathies to the family -
