My family and I would like to express our sincere condolences to Mr. Luther's family. I have known his sons for most of my 42 years. My famililies thoughts and prayers go out to you all in this time of sorrow.

It still doesn't seem real that you are gone..

You were more like my daddy than my poppa.
As I watched them lower your body in the ground yesterday I found peace. Peace knowing that was just a body, your soul was already in Heaven. I bet when you got there you and Uncle "Dub" went fishing and you and great nanny had a few words of disagreement. We took a ride after that, a ride like you would take on a Saturday...

Mr. Luther was one of the most important people in my life. He was my teacher, my friend and a amazing human being. He taught me more than I could ever forget. I am profoundly grateful for all that he did for me. I will miss him dearly.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I sure will miss my friend. We worked with each other for over 30 years and Luther was also a cousin from marriage. We have been up again the wall a many a time. He was a family man and loved his wife very much. His three sons were everything and the grandkids, you could not even think bad about none of them.
